Kanye West Wants Billie Eilish To Apologize For Allegedly Dissing Travis Scott

Kanye West wants Billie Eilish to apologize for allegedly dissing Travis Scott: Billie responds to him

Billionaire rapper Kanye West wants “Happier Than Ever” singer Billie Eilish to apologize for allegedly shading Travis Scott during one of her recent concerts. He also said that he won’t be performing at the Coachella Valley Music Festival unless Billie apologizes, to which she also responded. Let us see this new feud between Kanye West and Billie Eilish.

During Billie’s Atlanta Concert on Saturday, she stopped the show for a brief moment to give one of her fans in the crowd an inhaler because the concertgoer was having difficulty in breathing. She also asked other people in the concert if they got an inhaler, and took good care of the fan by giving that person some time. She also said, “We’re taking care of our people. I’m waiting for people to be okay before I keep going.”

Billie’s this behavior has been lauded with a lot of positive responses, but not for Kanye West as he was unhappy with what Billie said during the show. He thought that Billie was indirectly dissing his fellow friend and also a close family member Travis Scott, because of the Astroworld tragedy that took place back in November 2021.

Astroworld Festival was a music event founded by American rapper Travis Scott and was held at NRG Park in Houston, Texas. A fatal crowd crush took place at the concert, where eight people died that night on the spot, and other two people died after being hospitalized. More than twenty-five people were hospitalized too, and over 300 people were treated with injuries. A lot of footage of the night went viral, and also a lot of concertgoers shared their experience saying the festival was “demonic” and “horrifying”.

West took to his Instagram by sharing a screenshot of a news headline by Rapsea TV, which states, “Billie Eilish Dissed Travis Scott At Her Concert After She Stopped The Show To Give Her Fan An Inhaler! “I wait for the people to be okay before I keep going”.”

Under the post, he wrote:

“COME ON BILLIE WE LOVE YOU PLEASE APOLOGIZE TO TRAV AND TO THE FAMILIES OF THE PEOPLE WHO LOST THEIR LIVES NO ONE INTENDED THIS TO HAPPEN TRAV DIDN’T HAVE ANY IDEA OF WHAT WAS HAPPENING WHEN HE WAS ON STAGE AND WAS VERY HURT BY WHAT HAPPENED AND YES TRAV WILL BE WITH ME AT COACHELLA BUT NOW I NEED BILLIE TO APOLOGIZE BEFORE I PERFORM”.

Responding to this, the 20-year-old singer commented under the post, writing:

“Literally never said a thing about Travis. Was just helping a fan”.

Kanye West

Kanye didn’t stop here, and he shared a screenshot of a comment by the user who goes by the username @julian.schwartz, where he said, “Man’s off the meds album gonna go crazy”.

West captioned this post writing:

“THE WORLD IS RACIST SEXIST HOMOPHOBIC AND CRAZY PHOBIC AT OUR CORE ITS CHEAP AND DISMISSIVE TO SAY IM OFF MY MEDS ANYTIME I SPEAK UP PHOBIA IN THIS SENSE DOESN’T MEAN BEING AFRAID OF IT MEANS NOT GIVING POWER TO LETS BE MORE CONSCIOUS AND NOT WRITE EACH OTHER OFF SO EASILY”.

Although Kanye has pointed out that Travis had no idea about what was going on during his concert, there are a lot of videos that actually show that he has been seeing everything that was happening. In one video, he saw that the ambulance was coming to the crowd, and in the other, he was seen standing on top of a tower watching the victims being carried away while he sang an eerie tune. Later, he also posted an apology video on his Instagram which a lot of body language experts said was not genuine.

The youngest victim of the Astroworld tragedy was Ezra Blount, who was just 9 during the time of his death. Ezra’s grandparents came forward and called Kanye West’s message to Billie Eilish “idiotic” and “hurtful”.

“That’s crazy that he wants someone to apologize for putting the welfare of someone else before their profits. That’s someone who needed their asthma pump. They could have lost their life, right then. This world is twisted, and we have to stop doing this”, said Bernon Blount to Rolling Stone.

“I totally commend Billie Eilish for having that decency about her”, said Terecia Blount. “I think what she did was wonderful, and I would love to tell her myself how brilliant and awesome she is for doing so.”

Bernon Blout also said that it “doesn’t make sense” for Kanye to “vilify” Billie. “If he doesn’t want to perform at Coachella, fine. But for the rest of us, we need to start looking out for each other in a more sincere way and not let profits drive our motives.” He continued, “Our family is struggling because the loss of Ezra has affected us all, mentally, physically, spritually. We’re still trying to pick up the pieces. Kanye needs to have more empathy in him because if it was his children, he would be losing his mind.”

What do you think about this? Do you think Billie Eilish should apologize for doing the right things or Kanye is overreacting to this issue? Do let us know.
