After the release of her first album “When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?”, Billie Eilish got enough fame and praise from critics as well as the audience. After nearly 3 years, she is coming with a second album, and things aren’t going well for her right now. Let us see what this is all about

Billie Eilish announced that she is coming back with her second album called “Happier Than Ever”, where her music is going to be very different from what we heard in her first album. For the new album, Eilish also went blonde, which garnered enough attention on Instagram and those pictures breaking records one by one.

Previously, Eilish released her first single from the album called “My Future”, and went on to release second song “Therefore I am”, which both met with positive reviews. “Therefore I am” was praised very widely by a lot of celebrities too, especially for showing the concept of ‘body positivity’. In April, she released the third single from the album called “Your Power”, in which she is seen interacting with a real anaconda.
Recently, Eilish released the fourth single “Lost Cause” for which she was accused of queerbaiting, and was called out by a lot of people. Even fans burned down her merchandise and she lost over 23k followers on Instagram. Just a few days back, she released the fifth song “NDA”.
But even after giving out all these songs, and all the praise she is garnering, it looks like some people are not happy in what direction Eilish’s career is going. Haters are even calling her new era the “flop era”.

Like her previous album, this time too her brother Finneas has worked on the album with her, and the brother-sister duo has been on the spotlight since their success. She also told Stephen Colbert that she made the album during quarantine.
Eilish said, “Yeah, I made an album, and I just don’t think I would’ve made the same album, or even the album at all, if it weren’t for COVID. That doesn’t mean it’s about COVID at all, it’s just that, when things are different in your life, you are different. That’s just how it is.”
However, some people are totally not for this new album, as even before releasing all the sixteen tracks from the album, people have started to say that her new songs are just a skip for them.
Reacting to all the hate and bad criticism, Eilish took to her TikTok and posted a video of her just smiling and giving some expressions by covering her mouth, writing “is it just me or is billie in her flop era like why does she suck now…”. This is what people have been telling her.
@billieeilish literally all i see on this app… eat my dust my tits are bigger than yours

Eilish them clapped back with the caption, writing, “literally all i see on this app.. Eat my dust my tits are bigger than yours”. Well, not gonna lie, that was hilarious, as she really said that she doesn’t care about all the hate as her songs are getting good responses. She used “NDA” as the background score for this video
The video currently has over 39 Million views and over 7.4 Million likes.
Some of her fans came to her defense in the comment section.
@krystal.eilish2018 writes, “youngest female artists to win the top 5 categories at the grammys and SOLD OUT A WORLD TOUR and they think your career is flopping..who gonna tell em”.

@travelwithtayleena writes, “But they’ll cry about it when you stop making music”.

@iam,nadie writes, “it’s not true billie, your music is incredible and so are you, ignore negative comments <3”.

@solitary_angel7 writes, “i bet half of the haters don’t even know why they don’t like billie they jus don’t like her cus everybody else doin it”.

Whatever is happening right now, it all reminds us of what happened to Melanie Martinez back in 2017, when her fans burned down all her merchandise. When that happened, Billie was also accused of shading Martinez, tweeting, “da bitch ded”, and some people are calling it “karma”.
Well there are still many songs to be released, and we really cannot say that it’s the flop era just because her music has changed a bit
