Victorious was a huge success during that time, and it still is considered as one of the Nickelodeon classics. In the show, Grande played the character of a dim-witted girl, Cat Valentine, and she was also made to sing some songs for the show. Although she was not the main lead in the show, people did notice her and was equally praised like the protagonist Victoria Justice.
Grande says that her hair was badly damaged while she was working on the show because it had to be constantly dyed red, as Cat’s hair is red in color. After the successful run of four seasons, the show finally came to an end in 2013. Yet Grande’s character was revived in the spin-off series, Sam and Cat.
